A blissful Winter's day

It was a crisp, warm sunshining day on Waiheke.

Sometimes it's hard to believe it's the middle of Winter..

I think it should be illegal NOT to have a picnic with your best friend on a day like today.

Oneroa beach provided a perfect picnic table for our amazing spread of food, we were even provided with music by a near-by beach bum.

I always forget how much Alexa and I laugh when we're together–at nothing in particular.

I also forget how much food we always manage to engulf.

We attempted walking off our food bellies, but ended up dawdling and noticing the small details that you often forget to look at during Winter.

I loved talking about our travel plans for the end of the year, I can't wait to see how different everything is to Waiheke.

What I love about Winter days like this, is that everything comes out to dry off and bask in the sun.
