So, we've just recieved a brief to design an infographic for a design studio,
to promote sustainabilty and reduce usage of power or paper.
This sort of brief, is totally up my alley.
I agree entirely with sustainablity in design, I mean we do after all DESIGN every billboard and advert that you see, so what if what we designed was telling is to actually look after our poor planet, and not to BUY BUY BUY.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole 'infographic' thing, but I'm defenitaley excited about this brief–my heads flooding with ideas already.
There's alot of deisgners who support sustainable design and a vast amount of intelligent and engaging design involving sustainable design, you've just got to find it.
I'm going to start off my little bit, by producing a visual diary made out of recycled or scrap bits of paper for this brief,.
I will also record alot of stuff on my blog to reduce using my visual diary, but I love the creative process of visual diaries, so I don't really want to cut it out entirely perhaps just look at different resources to use.
So here's a little something that I found inspiring off Do The Green Thing:

Wish me luck!!!
