I adore and am very influenced by the oh-so talented Misprinted Type. (Eduirdo Recife)
I have used his illustration work (which works more with texture, typography and mostly collage with splashes of beautiful vintage colour) for influence and inspiration for assignments back in the Natcoll days..
His drawings are quite different than his illustrations, which is great.
I think it's pretty damn important for artists to have a variation of styles, it shows you're growing as an artist
What I love is the simplicity of the quotes, almost everyday sayings I guess ya could say,
but it's the drawings and the depiction of the quotes that make you read over the quotes again and again.
And look at the detail again and again.
And be infatuated again and again..and again.
